This is just a top selection for a fleeting pause in Parkend with extraordinarily good value for money. The landlady took care of our muddy biking clothes, washing and folding them unexpectedly. Look for a nice place to store your gear if you're biking or walking.

The full English breakfast was delightful, especially the poached egg. The live entertainment on Saturday night was a fantastic surprise that made our stay memorable.

Had an awesome weekend with friends! We explored the scenic paths at Cannop Cycle Centre and enjoyed a lovely stroll through the enchanting forest. The place was super dog-friendly, and I loved the homey vibe of the bar. Make sure to arrive early to snag a table, especially on busy nights! The breakfast was fantastic, a highlight of our stay.
The only downside was our room, which had a bit of a musty smell upon arrival. While it was well-furnished, it would have been uncomfortable for a longer stay.

A friendly atmosphere made for a great base after a day on the trails. The spacious room included a comfortable double bed, and the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. While the only downside was the lack of mobile signal and inconsistent wifi connectivity, it encouraged us to interact instead. The homemade desserts were delicious, but I found the steak a tad underwhelming compared to the fantastic burgers we had on the second night.

Amazing stay with great vibes!
Loved staying here for a couple of nights! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Our room was comfy and clean. The breakfast was delish. We went for a casual meal in the bar area and the locals were so welcoming. The only thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit sketchy. a fab experience!

Had a brilliant two-night stay with friends where we enjoyed the delicious hot meals and even got our muddy biking clothes washed by the lovely landlady. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea amongst the greenery, and we had a great time chatting in the cozy restaurant. Just a tiny bump was the shelf by the bed, which made me bang my head a few times, but it didn’t ruin our fun at all! 😊

We had an awesome time! The staff were super friendly, especially Michelle, who even brought us coffee after we overslept. The full English brekkie was top-notch with perfectly poached eggs and the best bacon.
